I am looking to design and develop event management website on an open source technology with following features, the basic features of event management website still applies. I prefer wordpress but any recommendations are welcomed.

Apart from the basic pages of event Calendar , event booking, transaction for events, the website should have features to upload videos, pictures, and a blogging facility as well as social media plugins with the website.

Employer have allocated budget for this project but you can increase or decrease bidding amount based on requirements.
